In this brief, the National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care (Consumer Voice) discusses the current immigration system and the role of comprehensive immigration reform in meeting our nation’s growing demand for home care workers.
Most importantly to consumers, this report focuses on how immigration reform would affect individuals receiving long-term care in the home by ensuring access to, and improving the overall quality of, these services. This report provides consumers and their advocates with strategies to advance comprehensive immigration reform.
